Our safety procedures start with our professional and independent post-installation inspection report. This ensures that each natural playground design complies with British and European standards, EN 1176 and EN 1177, which cover both play equipment and surfacing. Every component is selected not just for its function and creativity, but also for its safety and durability – from playground materials to planting and bug hotels, where children can interact safely with nature.
All of our natural play areas and associated landscaping come with a minimum six-month guarantee, provided they are used in accordance with our guidelines. Our school playground equipment carries a two-year guarantee, and our nominated surfacing contractors offer a five-year guarantee. While natural playground timber may naturally split or crack over time, the expected lifespan exceeds 10 years, and we’re always on hand for timely maintenance and repairs.
We understand that even the safest environments require ongoing care. Our detailed reports analyse every aspect of your natural play areas, including a full risk assessment, maintenance recommendations, and a list of any repairs, many of which we aim to carry out during the visit. These inspections not only reduce costs but also provide invaluable protection in the unfortunate event of an accident.
