As professional play equipment designers, we specialise in creating natural play areas that transform outdoor spaces into rich, sensory environments. By naturalising playgrounds with thoughtful planting, log stacks, and other features, we enhance both the aesthetics and educational value of the space. Touch and smell stimulate children’s senses, encouraging deeper play interaction and connection with nature.
Our design services blend creativity, learning, and fun, offering a truly unique outdoor experience for schools, parks, and farms in Birmingham, Colchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Wales, and the wider UK.
Our playground designs are enriched with unique features that inspire creativity and curiosity, while also encouraging physical development. Meanwhile, natural landscaping and planting add a sensory and environmental dimension. Our play equipment designers can incorporate wildflowers, herbs, and even small vegetable patches into the play area, helping to spark children’s interest in nature.
These planted zones, even in compact inner-city spaces, can attract butterflies, bees, and birds, offering endless opportunities for observation, exploration, and learning through play. Some of the installations and features we offer include:
Our play equipment designers will schedule an online or in-person consultation, carefully listening to your goals and sharing popular options from our portfolio.
After gathering the required information, we’ll calculate a design fee and estimated project timeline, before crafting a bespoke concept that reflects your vision and enhances your outdoor space.
Once the client has approved our designs, we’ll draw up a fixed-price contract, complete with a full schedule of works, site setup, and health and safety planning.
Our designers will begin the process of carefully constructing your playground, handling all project management, with some stages even involving interactive elements for the children.
After construction is complete, our team will add any agreed-on sensory planting, helping to enhance the senses of touch, smell, and even taste and enriching the play experience.
Once the project is complete, we’ll continue to support you with maintenance, repairs, and long-term care. Whether you’re based in Birmingham, Colchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Wales, or beyond, we’ll ensure your playground stays safe, vibrant, and engaging for years to come.
We are always happy to talk about your ideas and answer any questions you have about how we work, or offer advice on how best to successfully deliver your project. We can also talk through the finance options available to help spread the costs.
